Why zawatronics?

A classical electrician installs. I plan, develop and install — that's the difference for projects that demand more than the standard.

// 01

Engineering & trade in one person

Engineering degree and registration with the Chamber of Crafts in one hand. No interface losses between planning and execution — the same person who plans also installs.

// 02

When standard isn't enough

Where others need subcontractors, I develop in-house: custom controls, sensors, visualisation. Ideal for special-purpose machinery, individual smart-home solutions and unusual requirements.

// 03

Direct line to the owner

You speak with the person who actually works on the installation. No call centre, no rotating contacts, no translation between sales and technical staff.

// 04

Engineering-grade documentation

Wiring diagrams, test reports and handover documentation in a quality you would normally expect from industrial plant construction — not just as a duty, but as a service.

Who's behind zawatronics

Maximilian Zawadzki, owner of zawatronics

I'm Maximilian, an electrical engineer based in Saarbrücken.

My path led through a mechatronics apprenticeship, a B.Sc. degree in Mechatronics and Sensor Technology, and several years of professional experience as an embedded engineer in industry — with a focus on sensors, instrumentation and prototyping.

With the registration in the Chamber of Crafts as an electrician, I now close the loop from concept to finished installation. I'm fascinated by sensors, instrumentation and automation — and fundamentally everything at the intersection of hardware and software.

Where I work

Headquarters and workshop in Saarbrücken. My primary service area covers the entire Saarland:

Saarbrücken Saarlouis Neunkirchen St. Wendel Homburg Völklingen Merzig Blieskastel Lebach

On request also throughout the Greater Region: Lorraine, Luxembourg, Rhineland-Palatinate.

What customers often ask

Do you also accept small jobs or only large projects?

Both. I take on small jobs like EV charger installation or periodic safety inspections, as well as larger projects involving control systems and cabinet construction. What matters is that there are technical requirements where the combination of engineering and trade work adds value.

What area do you cover?

My main area is the Saarland — Saarbrücken, Saarlouis, Neunkirchen, St. Wendel, Homburg, Völklingen and Merzig. On request I also work in the Greater Region (Lorraine, Luxembourg, Rhineland-Palatinate).

What sets you apart from a classical electrical contractor?

I am a graduate electrical engineer and at the same time registered with the Chamber of Crafts. When a standard solution is not enough, I can develop and program custom controls and electronics myself, then install them directly — without subcontracting the engineering portion.

Are you insured?

Yes. The business carries public liability and professional indemnity insurance with adequate coverage for personal, property and financial damages.

How does an enquiry work?

First contact via phone or email. For larger projects, a free on-site visit follows for assessment. You then receive a binding quote with clearly itemised positions for materials, labour and any engineering services required.

Do you offer emergency service?

Existing customers can receive priority service by arrangement. A classical 24/7 emergency service is not part of the standard offer — please contact me for individual arrangements.

Let's talk

Phone is usually the fastest way. For more detailed enquiries, an email with a few key facts about the project is appreciated.

Business hours and response times vary depending on project workload. For a quick assessment, I recommend calling directly.
